We are
privileged to have “Sunna Pam
Furstenau,” as our guest speaker. Sunna comes from Fargo, North Dakota and
is renowned for her knowledge of
Icelandic settlers in North America. She will give a visual presentation
that will include reasons that settlers left Iceland and North Dakota and, as
well, she will talk about the cultural
values they brought with them. Sunna will visit Edmonton and Markerville as
part of her visit to Alberta before arriving in Calgary. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS
OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SUNNA! I heard her speak at the Seattle convention
and she got a standing ovation!
